North Cliffs is a spectacular length of crumbling coastline east of Hayle stretching from Navax Point almost to Portreath. Along the B3301 are numerous small rough car parks to pull in and peer over the edge to the sea stacks, islands and sandy coves below. The track along the top of these cliffs is largely wheelchair friendly and there are opportunities for photography from next to your car. A good place to start would be the Bassett's Cove car park and walk west towards Hells Mouth where there is a cafe. It's worth going down into Portreath where the harbour area can be spectacular during rough weather. You can park in Portreath and access the coast path from the western end of the beach, from here there is good walk to Bassetts Cove and along the North Cliffs.
The cliffs here were mined in the 19th century but you won't see much evidence on the top as most of the mines were cut in to the cliff faces. Keep a lookout for the holes and caves just east of Bassett's Cove, these were part of the mining activities.
