Porthcurno to Logan Rock:
Porthcurno Bay is absolutely spectacular whatever the weather. From the Minack Theatre to Logan Rock there is a mile or more of of endless possibilities. Calm and sunny, or stormy and rough, both give very different results. You can drive/walk up the hill to the Minack Theatre and find even more compositions.
The beach at Porthcurno is great for families and easy to access but a bit crowded in August! (Beware-in rough weather the sea can rush up the beach and catch you out)
Just before you reach the beach from the car park, the coastal footpath rises up to your left and gives lovely panoramic views of the bay.
Alternatively you can park at Treen and walk down to Logan Rock or Pedn Vounder across the fields or down the lane past the campsite. Pedn is a quite difficult to access but beautiful beach (loved by nudists).
From above the beach the views to Logan Rock are fantastic with low tide often preferable because of the pools and sand bars. The sun rises over Logan Rock and can be beautiful. Late evening and sunset gives golden light on the side of Logan Rock and all along the cliffs.

An April afternoon down on Pedn Beach before the nudists arrive. Not an easy clamber but worth it if you are able.

On the way from the car park down to Porthcurno Beach a path up to your left will take you on a lovely walk to Logan Rock. Bit of an uphill struggle to begin but the once at the top it's relatively flat. The cliff all along the path gives super views and you will almost surely meet the wild (but very friendly) ponies on the cliff as you near Logan. Above Pedn Beach and up the lane is an excellent campsite with vehicular access from Treen.
